Renew links and authorisations in RAM before they expire

Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) and myGovID were introduced by the ATO around 12 months ago to provide a more secure digital environment to access the Business Portal.

In Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM), business links for primary persons and Basic authorisations are only valid for up to 12 months.

You’ll receive emails from the ATO reminding you to renew your business link before it expires. A notification will also appear in RAM.

You can renew single or multiple business links in RAM from 40 days before the expiry date – log in to RAM and follow the prompts to renew, or visit Renew your business link.

Your renewal doesn’t affect authorisations you’ve set up for others, such as authorisation administrators and authorised users – they can continue to access government online services on behalf of the business.

If you need any assistance with the above, please do not hesitate to contact our office 9256 2777 or email June Griffiths, june@bqk.com.au
